🎶 A-B-C, as easy as IRC! 🎶 Today was an extra-special day at VBE! Our Pre-K and kindergarten students joined The Learning Alliance and the Lullaband to sing the “ABCs of IRC” and unveil colorful new literacy posters on our primary playground! These posters celebrate the communities, things, experiences that make Indian River County special—all while helping our youngest learners build essential early literacy skills. We are incredibly proud to be the first public school in Indian River County to feature the ABCs of IRC on our playground! Our kindergarten team participated in our first Moonshot Mirrors learning experience for the 26-27 school year! 🌙🚀 Ms. Lindgren welcomed her teammates into her classroom as she modeled both our VIBE time morning meeting and UFLI foundational-skills instruction. Through observation, reflection, and collaboration, our teachers had the opportunity to learn from one another and strengthen their instructional practices.
