Today was all about Tribe Pride and the VBE VIBE 🔥
Our #MyVBE Little Indians were inspired by some incredible guests from Vero Beach High School, including a very special visit from a former VBE teacher now VBHS Principal Rachel Serra-Finnegan — reminding us that our students don’t just grow up… they grow into leaders.
We also had the opportunity to hear about what it takes to reach excellence from VBHS quarterback Champ Monds, who helped lead his team all the way to the state championship and signed with Notre Dame today as the #1 quarterback in the nation! What a powerful example of hard work, discipline, and leadership in action!
As we head into our final PM #3 assessments, our message is clear: This is our time to shine.
Our students are ready to show their growth & achieve proficiency in Reading, Math & Science.
Because at VBE…

We welcomed back our former Little Indians as they walked our halls one more time—this time as graduating seniors.
Our students and staff lined the hallways, cheering them on and celebrating all they’ve accomplished. It was a full-circle moment that truly captured the heart of our school.
Today, we honored the lasting impact of our educators, celebrated the achievements of our students, and recognized the important partnerships with our families that make it all possible.
This is what it looks like when a community comes together to support, inspire, and believe in one another—every step of the way.

We wrapped up our Moonshot Academy tutoring and Storytime with a packed house for our Family Showcase this evening! 🌟
Our students proudly shared all they’ve been learning and working on throughout this semester in Moonshot Academy, and it was incredible to see their growth, confidence, and excitement on display.
We are so grateful for our partnership with The Learning Alliance and their generous donors, who made this opportunity possible for over 60 of our students this year. A huge thank you as well to our amazing tutors who pour so much time, care, and dedication into supporting our learners.
At our school, we truly thrive as a tribe—coming together to lift each other up and support every child’s success. What a fantastic way to celebrate their hard work! 💫

Across our campus, many of our staff members welcomed their own children to experience a day in the life at school—getting a behind-the-scenes look at all the care, teamwork, and dedication that goes into supporting our students each and every day.
Today was all about sparking ideas for the future and helping children explore the many paths their dreams can take. Whether your child joined you at work or learned about a career in another way, we’d love to celebrate with you!

Our athletes competed in the 37th annual Billy Wilson Elementary Track Meet this morning.
Now our drama students are performing their Frog & Toad show at 5:00 pm this evening at VBE. Tickets are available at the door for $5 per person. If you can't make it tonight - there is a 2:00 pm showing on Sunday!

This free summer program supports students who completed VPK and are preparing to begin kindergarten. STEP into K helps students build skills, confidence, and a strong foundation before the school year begins.
