Moonshot Academy

An integrated approach to building foundational reading skills through systematic phonics instruction and storytelling.

Tribal Phonics

A program targeted for Kindergarteners, offered during the 2nd semester, to provide additional opportunities in acquiring letters/sounds/high-frequency words.

Audubon Advocates

Environmental sciences program for 5th graders to learn about the unique features of our local wildlife and habitats.

Dream Chasers Academy

Specialized tutoring for students in need of remediation in the areas of ELA / Math.

Garden Club

Students work with master gardeners to tend VBE Gardens and grow produce.

Life Skills

Students learn the basics of cooking, budgeting, and writing checks during this after school program.

Girls on the Run

Empowerment and exercise program for girls in grades 3-5.

Track

Club for students participating in the annual Billy Willson Track Meet. Students learn the basics of track including rules, form, and teamwork/sportsmanship.

National Elementary Honors Society

Recognizing elementary students for outstanding academic achievement and promoting service and leadership development.

Art Club

Afterschool enrichment for budding artists who like to express themselves in a variety of mediums.

Science Academy

Hands-on instruction through the Florida Science standards hosted on Saturdays prior to the Florida Science Statewide Assessment.
